Many of the cars had flat tires. The car dealers seemed lole they could care less if they helped us or not. Some advice to owners have your salesmen not like like they are selling drugs on the corner and maybe people will feel more comfortable buying a car from you.

So I was looking for a new truck one caught my eye at bastians auto in coal valley. Stopped to talk about it I guess mike wasn’t available that day. So I called the next day gave him my info and we got things set up. So from this day to the day I got to test drive the truck was a span of about 3 weeks. Reason it took 3 weeks is because mike wasn’t there. I called them they never answered so two times I drove the 45 min drive to stop in and see about the truck mike wasn’t there either time. The last time I went there I asked the other employees if I could just take the truck that I planned on purchasing for a test drive got told no because I’m mikes customer and he wasn’t there!? So finally about 3 days later I get mike to answer his phone. So about 4 weeks after the very first phone call with him I’m able to come up and test drive the truck. Now granted they had to wait for the loan company to ok my work and blah blah so the first half of getting my truck wasn’t completely their fault besides for not ever answering or returning calls. So the day comes to sign papers the truck has a engine light on which they knew and told me to write down a service list of things I wanted done. So I did they call a week later asked which day worked for me. Gave them the day got it in got stuff fixed not everything I asked for but mechanically everything got fixed. 3 days after leaving the shop I left for work engine light came back on along with a vibration in my steering wheel. Called and called and called left voicemails got no return calls. Tried the next day finally got another appointment set up. Took the truck in told them what was wrong got the call to come pick it up because it was “fixed”. About 4 days go by and that engine light came back on for the same thing it was the first time (I had it hooked up to the computer at auto zone both times). Along with my exchuast falling off out of no where. Now I called them and they tell me they cannot do any more work to my truck because the last time I had it in there it had mud caked underneath the truck so I had been “4wheeling” according to the owner. And that the exchaust fell off due to that not because of rust. Now let me be clear here I ain’t gone 4 wheeling once in this truck I took it down a dirt road with some mud puddles on it on the way to a part dealers. Other than that the truck ain’t touched anything other than blacktop roads. So just for the simple fact that yeah it may have had some mud underneath from that old dirt road they will not touch my truck again. And I’ll be even more clear I would not recommend their unprofessional business to anyone. They do not answer or return calls like any other dealer I’ve dealt with. And the simple fact that they just decide I’ve been “4 wheeling” and can’t touch my truck anymore without even asking me about it just pisses me off. Oh and the damn exchaust hangers are rusted to nothing along with the muffler on it yet it was the muds fault? Not happy at all with my experience here and will never return for another vehicle.

A picture is worth a thousand words. When I wanted to get a loan on a different vehicle, I somehow no longer qualified for no money down. Cassi refused to give an explanation. Just that "Mike tried to help you out, but now to do a loan you will need $1000 down, it's like that anywhere you go.' When I explained that I don't care about everywhere else, what changed between the first time we signed out they put the wrong home address in the system? -their typo- She just repeated that I abandoned the car in some town in the middle of nowhere and that is was in terrible condition (it was not, not the cleanest but no damage or stains)and "now to do a deal it will be "$1000."
From day 1 I told them about problems with the truck. Nobody cared to answer the phone or my messages until I am mad for having to keep calling or go down there. Day of second appointment to dign correct paperwork, Mike wasn't even there and Cassi didn't know he wasn't. No apology. Se actually ended up arguing with me later on. Who argues with customer's-like brand new ones?
She refused to let me show her the missing buttons and issues inside the vehicle, because there was over a foot of snow.
13 days after I bought it. They put my safety at risk, my job at risk, and caused so many headaches for my taking off work to come there for something and they aren't there, or prepared. The day before I got my stuff out of the truck and we parted ways, we had an appointment to resign the truck and Mike was working on getting us into a different one and doing paperwork. No one answered all day and I didn't know if we were still meeting since no one called me back about a truck they have for us. She told my husband, "Oh we did have an appointment today at 5, we will have to cancel that." At like 445.
Don't go there, tell people you love not to go there. It could've been much worse had I kept driving. And no one cares, I asked to talk to the owner twice and was denied.
